The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) is a small federal agency within the U.S. Department of Labor whose Primary Mission is to take make sure that labor unions comply with federal law. It is very likely that an OLMS investigator will contact you at some point to determine if you are complying with the law. Wouldn’t you like to know what to expect when that happens?
Jim Devine will draw upon 28 years of experience investigating and auditing labor unions to tell you how to stay out of trouble with the U.S. Department of Labor. Topics will include the following:
-
Tens Steps to Your Union’s Financial Health
-
Understanding the OLMS Compliance Audit Program (CAP)
-
Surviving an OLMS Election Investigation
-
The Future Is Now: A Look at Remote Access Elections
Be prepared to ask questions. You will learn things that Jim Devine could not tell you when he worked for DOL. This workshop is offered on Monday afternoon.
